Hi, I'm new here and a complete luddite fool, so please bear with me. I want to put my short film online somewhere. It seems to be too long for YouTube, so I put it on Google Video after converting it to the correct specifications. However, it looked really poor to be honest. I have put the film on DVD and it looks ok, so I know that thats ok. Does anyone have any tips to getting it to look good on Google Video? Also, can anyone suggest an encoder that lets you select specific things like fps and resolution? I've tried Super Fever but found it to be very flawed.

Another suggestion is to get your own paid hosting. In other words, put it on your own site. Not sure if that's too hard for you (not savvy on computers), but figured I'd suggest it anyway.

Or you could consider posting onto www.Stage6.com

High quality video on the web that ACTUALLY looks good in full screen, rather than the all-too-familiar choppy, pixilated, low resolution videos we are all accustomed to seeing online nowadays.
