I'M sorry for my incompitence but i could do with someones help, i'm trying to convert an avi file into dvd.
I did put it through nero but for some reason it paused, and when i played the dvd on my dvd player it would sometimes come up in vob file or it would say insert a playable disc, but anyway back to the quistion in hand,i've started up Divxtodvd,it ask to drag and drop the file i want to convert than press the plus button.
This is where i get stuck, when i press the plus button it diverts me to my documents, what do i do from here?i've tried to make a new folder for the convertion to go in,but the set up that i've look at in this forum lookes diffrent from mine.

All i've got when i open Divxtodvd is a box that i drag my film into, than a plus, minus, ect, no video preview.
    Have i done something wrong?
    Thanks

DivxToDVD is the freeware version. ConvertXToDVD is the newer payware version with quite a few improvements over the freeware version.

All i've got when i open Divxtodvd is a box that i drag my film into, than a plus, minus, ect, no video preview.

No. If it shows your file that you dragged there, it's fine. You can adjust the 'Settings', then just select 'Convert' under 'Action' and wait for it to finish. There is a video preview under 'Window'. The plus button is to add more files. Really, it's a very simple program.

And this forum is for converting to AVI type formats, not to DVDs. Moving you.
