    I was trying to help my friend combine mini dvd movies from the sony cam to one dvd. I placed the mini dvd into the drive and used the dvd feature in nero to combine clips(click + drag). as soon it gets to 3/4 transfer, it has an error. I even tried dvd shrink and it does the same. I also went to my computer and located just the video file and no luck.Is there a special program to decode these mini dvds? They play in a regular dvd player. I don't understand.

    try the cheap version of sony vegas -- it will read those suckers ...usually

    ok I will tell her. Is there a free program that would do this too? Just wondering what kind of file type those camcorders use. Is it their own coding? I thought I would be able to drag and drop the files, like AVI. Oh well. Thank You for the help.
