I have an Mkv movie encoded with XviD video and AAC LC-SBR audio. I'm Trying to get this to an avi to have it burned to a dvd and watch it on tv. So far i have Used MKVextractGui to Extract the video and audio. I then change the AAC to Wav using Foobar2k, And change the video to avi using Virtualdubmod or AvimuxGUI. In the end when i put the two files together they get out of sync by alot. I cant figure as to why that is..... Can anyone help please?

Just to be clear. Is your title correct in that the mkv is out of sync? Because your post only talks of it being out of sync afterwards. If you have a VFR mkv then it will be out of sync when remuxed to avi due to the fact that the streams aren't the same length when you assume CFR. If you search there are plenty of posts already with people having trouble with converting VFR mkv's.

Thanks it helped alot that i now knew what to search for Now i got another problem to deal with Now when i try to burn it, and only when i try to burn it for some reason the video moves at an amazingly fast pace while the audio stays as it should(i use Nero). By the time the Opening song is done at normal speed the video is at the ending song.....thats how bad it is XD. Is there anyway to fix this problem or maybe i did something wrong while converting? Its weird though it has no problems while playing in VLC player though it Crashes in windows media player at random moments. Ihave no idea whats going on D:
