Figured I'd give the TY's a go, unfortunately the various listings are a bit confusing.
DVD-R 4.7G 8X Silver Lacquer (Valueline) by Taiyo Yuden
Are these the same as:
Taiyo Yuden 4.7GB 8X DVD-R Media Silver Thermal Lacquer (Value Line)
What does Silver Lacquer vs Silver Thermal Lacquer mean?
And is there a difference from these 'Premium Line' ones?
Taiyo Yuden Premium 8X DVD-R Media Silver Thermal Lacquer in Cake Box Spindle (Premium Line)
Thanks

Some will agree with me and some will disagree with me but when it comes to purchasing Taiyo Yuden DVD media I would buy from RIMA.COM and no other website.
In fact here is a direct link to Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R at RIMA.COM: CLICK HERE
Those have a plain "shiny silver" surface. That's the most common one that most people buy.
