    I downloaded and installed huffyuv codec but I haven't used it yet on a 24 min video.
    Please tell me the outcome size of the video because I'm not sure how many gb this file will occupy. My hard disk is 80 GB and Free space is 35 GB.

    Not sure about huffyuv, but I used lagarith recently for a 2 hour 5 minute video. In yuy2 mode it ate around 49GB. Huffyuv has got to be ballpark.

    It will depend on the video in question. You can expect anywhere from about 20 to 40 GB/hr with full D1 video and HuffYUV.

    you should really get a second large hard drive.

    you may very well run into sync. issues capturing to your system drive, especially when you're cutting it so close.

    remember you're also probably going to want to edit/render to another format. So then you'll be reading/rendering/writing to the same almost full hard drive.
