Is there a way to batch encode in Nero Vision Express? A trick, workaround, script, or method someone has cunningly devised to make this junk batch encode?

(Why would Nero not include batch by now anyway? Take a hint from Tmpgenc and other encoders with batch, it's essential for home users to save time by encoding while away from the pc. Multitask fool.)

Because NVE is an entry level tool aimed at people who do the occational conversion once in a year? Anyone thinking of doing batch conversion have usually moved up to better methods/tools.
What have you got and what do you want to end up with?

I start with nothing, create credits in NVE->Make A Movie->Text Effects, then encode the project with divx codec selected. For all other video encoding I use VirtualdubMod or Tmpgenc, which has a batch feature.

    Basically.

It does this one thing well though. I just need it to do it over and over again without me having to be at the desk.

So, you just use it for creating a credits snip? Sounds like something that could be done with AViSynth (for encoding with VirtualDub).
