Firefox Cut and Paste Bug

Anyone else plagued by it - Firefox won't paste something (ie a url) that you copied?

I only get this in one situation. I've done a copy to get a link into 'Fresh Download' that uses an identical target filename while the first is still downloading. This seems to cause a foulup in 'Fresh Download'. I kill that and everything is back to normal. Have to do those files one at a time and wait till each one finishes.

Sorry if it's not the same as your problem but it's the only time I've tripped over it.

I've only seen it happen in certain places, like Yahoo Mail.

This annoying bug has been fixed with the 2.0 rc 2 version. Download that at http://www.mozilla.org

Also this bug only occurs if you open a new Firefox windows by clicking on the icon. If you use ctrl+n the bug doesn't occur.

Cool. PortableApps.Com has a version that doesn't require installation. I'll test it out.
