hooking up cell phone to bluetooth for tranfering ringtones?

sorry if this can't be asked on this site or if it been answered befor. i have a mac mini and a LG VX-9800 and i want to pair up the phone to use with bitpim so i could get my homemade ringtone on my cell but the program bitpim wount work finding the phone. but some other sites and people i know told me that i could do it and it works how u do it?

by may may have to into your phone's settings and turn bluetooth on. also, you usually have to turn your phone on 'discovery' mode when pairing to a new device.
