I know that the FLV file is written to hard disk. How do I convert it to a format that can be played on a PC or written to DVD?

I saw the pdf file on "Super". Is that the answer?

Maybe. My best advice is to try Super and hope it works. I have seen FLV files that would download but even Super couldn't convert, so don't expect it to work 100% of the time.

You CAN play FLV files on a PC, by the way. Do a web search, but there are several free FLV players available.

With Gabest's splitter installed (+ffdshow for FLV1's) you can play flv files on any dshow based player.

I usually use FFMpeg myself, with a script like this:

    "C:\PROGRAM FILES\FFMPEG\ffmpeg.exe" -i "c:\your\file\here.flv" -target ntsc-dvd -b 6500 -aspect 4:3 -s 656x448 -padright 32 -padleft 32 -padtop 16 -padbottom 16 -acodec ac3 -ab 192 -ac 2 -mbd 2 -qmin 2 -async 1 -y "c:\your\output\here.mpg"

But in a pinch, Rad Video Tools (with FFDshow) usually works too.
