    Hello all, i tried the search, but not knowing exactly what i was to search for im asking in here, i have a new LG DVD VHS player, now i know not so good, i have a problem where most of my old tapes recorded before i got the player have bad very bad horizontal lines kinda like its breaking
    up, but the same tapes on my mates panasonic player run fine, i need a new player so im after advice as to what to get ??.

    Have you tried adjusting the tracking manually?

    If you know that your tapes play fine on a particular VCR, then I would check to see if that model is available on EBay...
