Hey folks,
I have my DVD Recorder set up thusly:
1. RF cable from Direct TV into the Direct TV receiver box,
2. RF cable out from the receiver into my VCR RF input,
3. RF cable out from the VCR into the DVD recorder's RF input, then
4. a. RF cable out from the recorder into the TV. This is needed in order to
watch TV without the recorder being turned on, and
b. RCA cables out from the recorder into the TV's Input 1.
The setup seems to work in terms of video. But I am getting audio noise/feedback. This is much worse when I start to record a program to my DVD Recorder. When I play back the recording, the same noise is present.
When I stop recording, the noise/feedback isn't as bad.
The manual doesn't help at all.
Any ideas or suggestions? I am hoping that the unit isn't bad, and that the problem can be fixed via a different type of setup.
Thanks!
Chris
