    Hi

I had an old Philips DVD 737 which had the capability to read simple ".wav" directly burned onto a DVD in ISO format
I have a nice collection of music in 5.1 format saved in .ac3 / .dts and mostly .wav files on those DVDs

the Philips player died and I recently bought an LG 42PC1RR plasma screen, so I went looking for a new player with few "key" features : HDMI output , good upscaler, and DivX support

I thought "reading" a simple .wav file would be a piece of cake for any player and it turns out that it is nightmarish to find !!

I am now "on a mission" for which I need your help : what DVD player(s) can play those damn wav files ??? I have posted a test file for those willing to help me :
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MNUJVTO0
(don't forget to enter a 3 letter code on the top right corner to start the d/l, pop-up block off)
you just need to download, burn on a dvd/rw in ISO format and feed your player

If your player "sees" the file and you have a 5.1 amplifier behind you'll enjoy this song !

thanks in advance to those who will take 10 min for my personnal little problem !

  6. You should able to combine the result from audioDVD creater and surround DVD audio into one. This will make you not dependence on what "special" ability the DVD player need to have.

  8. See tool section on the left. There is tool called audioDVD creater, that will create DVD with audio track from wav files. That can be played with any DVD player. It is possible for you combine this with other DVD with audio.
