Editing And Joining

I"m looking for a program that will be easy to learn for a noob Editing and joining I want to beable to cut out the beging credits and ending credits and join more then 1 file

For AVI use VirtualDub.

Join and edit what?? AVI, MPEG 1-2-4?? DVD?? There are lots of people here willing to help but the more detailed your question, the better your answers will be, Are you going to be converting this video to another format after it's edited or keeping it the same ??

Its an XivdMepg-4 no converting after keeping the files the same

YAMB 1.6 will do basic joins and splits to MPEG-4 files and it's free, AviDemux is another one to look at but it isn't exactly for Noobs, look in the "Tools" section at the left-hand margin of the Videohelp homepage to find these and other tools listed by type. MPEG Streamclip is another one that works but it requires Quicktime Pro or Quicktime Alternative. Good Luck

For Xvid VirtualDub is fine and free

Not XViD in an.mp4 Container, VDub will only work if it's an .avi
