    I copied a dvd which I own to my computer using dvdshrink. Its now stored on my harddrive with a bunch on videots files which equal 4.3gb. I can play them individualy but its only bits and pieces. I want to convert and complie into one file. Whats the best way to go about this. I have the divx converter but have never used it

    AutoGK or avi.NET are well regarded. Ignore the jackass comment regarding AutoGK and virii, as it references a version that doesn't even exist.

    AutoGK all the way. Even oddball requests can be handled through the "hidden options" (read the README)

    Don't convert from the shrunk version, for max quality use the original. And yes, you will end up with the one AVI file.
