My upconverting DVD player is plugged into the HDMI port on my Sony 57" HD TV. I'm thinking about getting a Sony HDR-HC3 camcorder. Is there such a thing as a "splitter" so I can plug both my DVD player and camcorder into the HDMI port on my TV? Thanks in advance!![]()

That would be a switcher as opposed to a splitter.
For example: http://www.digitalextender.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=11
Splitter: one input, several outputs.
Switcher: several inputs, one output.
