I'm having trouble with the quality of my VCD's. Even when they're dvd ripped. I can't get rid of the blocks, I think it's called macro or something. Is there a setting in TMPGenc that will get rid of them?

Did you load a template in TMPGEnc? You can also try the "non standard templates" This option can reduce macroblocks, but you will loose a bit of audio quality, as this will have a lower bitrate. (but video birate increases)
