  1. I just burned a DVD using nero and I tested it out on my computer and everything was fine, but when I put it into my DVD player it has no audio.

It is an old DVD player but everything works on it fine.

I burned it with NTSC and 48kHz sampling rates.

    Thank you

  2. What audio format did you encode it to,AC3? and what software?

Your PC's codecs may be able to decode it but if the audio isn't to DVD spec then your DVD Player will have troubles

If the audio is MP2 then that is not in spec for NTSC DVD and some players will no like it. Try it in another player.

Does you player offer you the ability to select audio streams?

I recently authored a cartoon compilation and discovered the audio for one cartoon was in the second stream selection.

It may be there but you may not be playing it.
