    Digiface - If you think you may want to buy an HD-DVD and/or BluRay player in the next year or so, you may want to wait. HD-DVD and BluRay both support new types of Dolby and DTS sound that are so new, nobody makes a receiver that supports them. The current HD-DVD discs are using uncompressed multichannel PCM files for playback, which works on existing receivers, but uses up a lot of disc space. You might want to wait and try to get a receiver that supports the new sound formats. Then again, you may not care, but I did want to give you something to think about.
