Create DVDS of multiple clips with a new menu

Hi,

I want to create a DVD of clips from multiple DVD's - need to get those clips off the DVD's without loosing video or audio quality - what app do you recommend? I do not want to un-encode and re-encode each file

What program can I use now to create a DVD Menu tree, and burn all these clips onto a DVD, so that i can put it in a player and navigae to the clip I want?

Couple things - Must maintain 100% quality of video and audio.. and must be able to burn DTS tracks...

Thanks for the tip, the software looks easy, but from a quick look it doesn't look like it lets you set up a menu.. I am looking at having about 40-60 clips on 1 disc, so having a menu structure is a must.

Any other thoughts from anyone?

Before Hawkeye, I'd rip, cut in Streamclip, and build in Toast. That would allow for menus. Not sure about DTS support on this route, tho'.

Hawkeye has DVD menus. It takes a little while to figure out how this application works but then it all makes sense. For example, its default setting is to requantize (shrink) the video even if you don't need that.

I don't make DVDs with lots of clips so I've only used Hawkeye as a demo. I use Toast 7 instead. But Hawkeye can rip most DVDs (don't need MTR), extract selected titles or chapters, requantize, and author a new DVD with menu all in one application.

The developer is very active in updating this app. It seems a new incremental update comes out every couple weeks and they've added many new features in the past couple months. It still needs more work but it is gaining.

Thanks.. I found the Menu feature in Hawkeye, it's a cool app.. unfortunatly I need to be able to create folders, which I don't think hawkeye does right now.. so the search goes on...
