    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a song that was being played during a scene in the TV series "The Shield". I heard a short bit of this heavy metallic song and I have been wishing to hear it again.

During a raid, Vic Mackey shoots in the face a blond police officer and he falls on his back, then several memories flash before his eyes, including one where Vic Mackey is treating him well during a barbecue.

I found the following description in Wikipedia of that particular show:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The Original Sin

Arguably his worst crime was murdering the fifth member of his team, Terry Crowley, who was sent by Captain David Aceveda and the Justice Department to prove the Strike Team was working with a drug dealer. While on a raid in a criminal's house during police work, Mackey shot Crowley in the head, fatally wounding him. Acevada immediately suspected Mackey murdered Terry and set out to prove his guilt, but he was ultimately unsuccessful.

Mackey and Strike Team member Shane Vendrell are the only members of the Strike Team aware of the murder, though fellow member Curtis Lemansky would eventually be given a form of the events years later. Mackey has since occasionally expressed regret over Crowley's death.

After the Crowley murder, Mackey also tried to steal money from the Armenian Mob. Regardless of how he succeeded, the Armenians were able to find out about his robbery attempt and they sent Margos to decimate the Strike Team. In order to save himself and his team, Mackey killed Margos, thereby also covering up for the robbery.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I apologize if this bothers someone here, but I have tried in vain to discover the title of this song.

I don't know if this will help, but it is a link to some samples on one of the soundtracks.

I dig The Shield, some kicking tunes too. It is kind of funny, I wonder if the tunes would have stood on their own for me if they had not been introduced in the series. I am starting to listen more and more to what I would guess is called alternitive music on the radio too. (I guess they quit making 70s music a few years back)

    Good luck, hope this helped

Their link for the BLS tune appears to be a bad one.

Here's the right link for Death March

Yeah, that's definitely not metal. More like Rockish-CrapRap.

  11. You don't like it. I reckon it's OK, though. Suited the scene in The Shield perfectly.
