    Hello All, Occasionally my DVD Shrink spits the dummy, and comes up with "DVD Shrink encountered an error & cannot continue - Programming Error - Exception occured"
    This doesn't happen often, but is a hassle. Is there a similar program available??? Cheers, Wayne

    rip the files to your hard drive first with DVDFAB DECRYPTER then use DVDSHRINK. the disc could also be dirty or scratched.

    The error DvdShrink is really reporting is that you're trying to feed it a bad rip, and it can't handle the messed up files. The solution is to re-rip with a better ripping program. Personally, I use RipIt4Me for ripping, and can highly recommend it to you. The last stage of the rip (using RipIt4Me) even opens the rip in DvdShrink for you.
