  1. I got this message when I loaded a dvd into TDA is there no way TDA cannot be fooled as didnt really want to do all the audio again then convert etc

    You have to, I'm afraid. 44.1 kHz isn't DVD compliant, and will probably play back with distorted sound if at all, if you could persuade any authoring app to accept the audio.

    I thought TDA would re-sample the audio? I'm sure I have done that in the past. Read the OP properly now You don't want to convert do you?

    You're right - it does resample a VCD mpg audio to 48 kHz - What kind of audio do you have in your project, natty?

    Could be TDA can't resample AC3 - only mp2. I'm afraid you have to resample your audio yourself. SSRC is a good resample tool.

    Or try ffmpeggui to re-sample, it's very easy to use.

    You need the ac-3 plugin for TDA to reencode the audio. If you have the plugin you may need to go to environmental settings, and check re-encode to ac-3. Otherwise you need outside program like steveryan stated

  9. Try this. Load your video, under Track 1 click Settings then click Audio and see if you can change it there.
