  1. Hi all when converting avi / dvx the file always becomes bigger than the disk so u have to use autofit is there another way to do this and the film being smaller than 4.3gig when the output file is finnished

  3. i load svcd2dvd then add a avi or dvx to it the total bar shows more than 4.3 gig i click autofit and it goes down to around 4.3 gig is there a way to maybe make a avi dvx to dvd so that the total output file will be maybe 2.5 gig or somert

    and adjust the value according to the final size result you want. Be aware that going too small might severely limit your btrate and resulting quality. It can also push you into half D1 resolution that can cause display problems with widescreen sources.

    Do "Start->Run", type regedit and then click "OK".

    Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Badger I.T.\SVCD2DVD 2.0 and add a string value called DVDSIZESAFTYMARGIN :



    Give this string a value in MB which is the safety margin for DVD5 capacity. i.e a value of 200 will mean that the resultant DVD should be 200MB under 4.37GB.
