    I have following problem:
When I play DVD on my computer everything is normal on monitor, but there is no picture on TV. Wneh played in window only window frame is visible alongside icons and taskbar, but there is now picture in frame (black). When i am playing DivX or else everything is ok (monitor and TV).

Video cart is GeForce 4200Ti (else stated in profile). I tried various video drivers and codecs.
    What could it be?

Sounds like the video card overlay settings or your software player. If you can see the frame of the player and the video is black and the audio is fine and you see the Windows background, that's usually the problem. You might try playing with a different software player if there are no video card settings for overlay.

Sometimes VLC works better for this. With VLC, you can turn overlay off and on in 'Settings>Preferences>(Check 'Advanced Options')Video', then you will see the checkbox near the bottom of the page for 'Overlay Video Output'.

You can also turn off acceleration in the DirectX applet.

I use the Dscaler mpeg2 decoder codec for the window media player.
Then in the WMP .. tools/options/performance/advance... under "DVD Video", uncheck everything except "Use video mixing renderer" then apply and restart the player.

    Works for me.
