  1. I am currently converting some files in TMPGEnc Xpress and they are all WMV files at a 320x240 resolution.

I want to convert them to DVD NSTC standard. Xpress defaults to the 320x240 resolution, but wouldn't it be better to convert it to resolution 704x480 so it would be in a 4:3 aspect ratio??

Or would it make the image quality horrible?

  2. Resize to 352x240. That will be the proper aspect ratio for NTSC DVD (assuming your 320x240 source is square pixel 4:3).
