    I am currently converting some files in TMPGEnc Xpress and they are all WMV files at a 320x240 resolution.

    I want to convert them to DVD NSTC standard. Xpress defaults to the 320x240 resolution, but wouldn't it be better to convert it to resolution 704x480 so it would be in a 4:3 aspect ratio??

    Or would it make the image quality horrible?

    Resize to 352x240. That will be the proper aspect ratio for NTSC DVD (assuming your 320x240 source is square pixel 4:3).
