  1. hi there.

a friend just sent me these files that he ripped from a dvd, and i got no idea what they are and how to burn them to dvd. i cant contact him to ask what i do with them from here to burn them to dvd or cd disc. i thought he was sending me a simple vcd mpeg1 file so i can just burn it to a cd, but this is the files i got.

the .bin one is obviously the movie itself cos its 676mb in size, but what is the .cue file.

i need to know how i go about burning these to dvd or as it says kvcd so i guess thats some kind of mpeg1 vcd format.

i hate it when people upload files like this.

can anyone give me a step by step on what program i need to use with these files to convert them to burn to dvd.

    cheers everyone.

I think ImgBurn will do the trick.

  4. ok thanks, i just imported the .cue file into nero and it burned the video to cd and my daughter is now watching it on tv.

just a note, is there any way to convert those back to a simple mpeg1 video file.

    cheers

There are free tools that'll do that too... VCDEasy

Just get the final free version. The extraction function is in there.
