    Hi,

    I am looking for a way to grab images (bmp or jpg) directly from the DVD without first having to convert it to AVI.

    I tried Image Grabber (from Paul Gagla), but program keeps asking for a codec.

    Can anyone help me out here ?

    Pretty much any software dvd player will capture stills take screenshots from a dvd.

    VLC media player

    PowerDVD

    WinDVD

    Media Player Classic can be added to this list. It's as simple as File->Save Image
