  1. I am using Image Grabber II.NET for grabbing 30 screenshots per video file.
And it works well even with .mkv and .mp4 files.
However I don't know how to use it for DVD's. There is VIDEO_TS folder with VOB files but I don't want to grab 30 images from every VOB but I want from WHOLE dvd movie.
Anyone know how to do it with this program? I don't want to change it.
Yes of course I could rip DVD but that's pointless for just this purpose.

You may want to try the main .IFO file to see if that works. And why would ripping (aka decrypting) a possibly copy-protected DVD be pointless?

  3. I meant -- ripping to AVI/MKV etc. files, because it's time-consuming operation.
Those DVD's which I have on harddrive I had already decrypted.

Unfortunately -- it cannot see .IFO files . Maybe anyone know any fix for it coz I know thiat this program is no longer supprted and developed?

    That's not ripping....that's converting

This is ripping. A "rip" is an exact copy of a DVD(minus any encryption) placed on your HDD.

I just downloaded the program and tried it. It only appears to open individual VOB files. The next easiest step
would be to create one, giant MPEG file of the DVD with VOB2MPEG and see if that works.

hech54's suggestion was simply a suggestion. It's not that he was sure it would work but that it MIGHT provide a way to fix your problem - IF it worked. Then the only solution for you is to see if something like VOB2MPG can take your ripped VOB files and create a single large MPEG file from them that your program can access. That's an awful lot of work to do for something like this though.

I may missing something here but, why not just use your program to grab a few frames from each vob?
Murphy's law taught me everything I know.

And how will you join them then? I don't want to have multiple of them.
Because as I mentioned, I want to have only one .JPG file of 30 screens form the WHOLE movie.
Le's say I have 4 VOB files. That accounts for 120 screens. I need only 30 and would like to keep this policy as I do this for all movies I have.

Yes, that seems to be the only solution for now.
