    Hi Guys
    I am a newbie to authoing world
    I am using avi2dvd to author a dvd from avi file
    it went ok and after trying out the output DVD , it plays 5 minutes the the screen goes black but I can hear the movie sound
    I see a message on the screen
    AVISynth : devision by zero at 0x01f254a2

    Any clue ??

    With all that you have provided, I would say that you had a division by zero somewhere at 0x01f254a2. And unless you endeavor to provide more information, I would say that that is ALL that can be said.

    I am installing XVID
    avisynth and its an avifile what else info I can supply , just name it

    My guess is a corrupt AVI. If you open the AviSynth script in VDub(Mod), at that place the same thing should happen. If you play the AVI, maybe at that place you'll see some sort of corruption or messed up video. Just a guess though.
