It says made in Taiwan, but God knows what's the MID...

DVD+R's also available with same bundle, same price.

Fujifilm is an outsourced ID, so no telling who actually produced them. It could be CMC or RITEK or whoever else. Some Fujifilm uses it's own dye (Oxonol), but some of the others are no so clear on what is done. They may or may not adopt the materials and controls of the actual manufacturer. I quit keeping track, so not sure on who is using exactly what at this very minute.

It could be great, it could be lackluster, test thoroughly. Do not use it for anything valuable on not easy to replace.

I don't think CMC makes any Fujifilm MID discs. I've heard of Prodisc, Ritek and MBIL doing so though.

    Staples has a 100 pack Memorex ( MCC 004 ) for $25. http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?storeId=10001&n...WEEKLY%20DEALS

I burned a series of 10 data discs so far at 16x without any issue.

It's probably a crapshoot as to whether you'd get MCC004 with those Memorex discs.

True Gen-An. Buyer beware no labeling outside to help with media code ID.

At .25 cents USD a piece after 4-5 discs if they were bad I would just return them as I have other bad media. I also picked up a couple 512MB PNY USB Drives for $15.

NoMoreCoasters rated it as 2nd class, "decent, not great". In other words, I *could* do worse.

  10. Bought a spindle at OfficeDepot in Bangor, Maine....Seem to fine. But my Pioneer A05 doesn' like 'em as I burned about 15 so far and only coaster was on the Pioneer. My LG GSA-4167B and LG GSA-4160B love 'em. No coasters with either LG burners....
