Ok so I have downloaded a few PPV's, all are in AVI and in XviD form. I use Virtualdub to try and join these together and the audio parts in them are in VBR so they won't join, so does anyone know a good program that will join the files without losing audio synch or loss of video quality?

Also I am sure this has been posted before but there are half a billion threads worth trying to find

Or you can use VD and just convert the audio to CBR and add it back in. VBR audio will likely give you problems however you try to join it. I use VD Mod; Extract out the audio as a WAV with full processing, then Add it back in and convert to MP3 CBR with the Lame MP3 codec using the same format as the original file. Set the video to 'Direct stream copy' and the audio to 'Full processing', and it will just change the audio without touching the video. This is what works for me. Then, as long as the files have exactly the same specifications, VD should be able to join (Append) them.

    And welcome to our forums.
