  1. Hi

I would like to do a simple demultiplex on a video file
    then modify the audio
and then do a simple multiplex with the same video source and the newly modified audio file

When I do my simple demultiplex, it generates me 2 files m2v (video) and mp2 (audio)

The audio file mp2 cannot be saved in this format using goldwave.

I would like to know that file format that I can output with Goldwave can be used with the simple multiplex toold that come with tmpgenc ( I try wav and mp3 and it did not work )

    thanx

You can save as an uncompressed wav file (PCM), and then either mux this back (large, may push your bitrate out of bounds) or use ffmpeggui to encode this as AC3 or mp2

If your goal is DVD, a+v will be muxed while authoring. If not, encode wav to mp2 with tooLame, then mux with TMPGEnc.
