I am having a bit of a problem converting avi's to DVD with the DVD mpeg2enc option. On selecting this option no other changes are made to the settings. The conversion is complete in less than a second with no output file being produced. Below are the type of information logs generated on completion:
example 1
/bin/sh: line 1: /Library/Application Support/ffmpegX/mpeg2enc: Malformed Mach-o file

Converting these files with DVD ffmpeg option proceeds with no problems. Could anybody shed some light on what may be going on here? I am using the latest release of ffmpegx on an intel machine with 10.4.7.
Thanks
