How do you keep your projects seperate using Video Studio 10?

I am working on two projects in VS and I can't keep the two seperated. When I launch Project 1 all the clips from Project 2 are there with those of Project 1 and when I launch Project 2 all the clips from Project 1 are there with those of Project 2. If I delete the clips of Project 2 from Project 1 then they are also deleted from Project 2 and vice versa.

When working with saved project's :

Project1 : once all media has entered time line ... remove those "import clip" thumbnail's ... save project
    Project2 : same as above .

This way when switching between project's they do not get displayed ... so no confussion ... only the content on timeline change's .

while most other program's do it the expected way ... the brain's that created this program must have been on holiday ... so no ... your not seeing double or going nutt's .

Thanks alot for your help. It was becoming a nightmare keeping track of which thumbnails belonged to which project especially when some of them started out with a black scene.

Now the only problem is to make sure that when I switch over to another project I also have to change the working directory because that stays constant from one project to another.

You're right! Sometimes I think the designers of VS didn't have much of a software developing education. Too many other things also about VS that are signs of poor development skills
