    Are there any DVD rippers (for non-commercial disks, natch) which are Universal applications?
    Go off and rule the universe from beyond the grave. Or check into a psycho ward, whichever comes first, eh?

    How many non-commercial discs are copy protected?
    If they're not, they don't need ripping.

    To extract a single VOB out of the VIDEO_TS folder, for subsquent editing, processing, maybe reauthoring with different menus and chapters, etc.
