Hello all. I have a XVID video that has the sound as .AC3 already. How do I encode my XVID for Mpeg2 but not reencode the audio and make use of the .AC3 audio already in the file? This is a new one for me! Any suggestions?

Demux out the AC3 and when you author, combine it back in. Easy to do with TMPGEnc DVD Author, or probably with other authoring programs. You can demux it out with TMPGEnc encoder>Tools>Simple demultiplex or Virtual Dub Mod>Streams>Stream list>Demux.

ConvertXtoDVD will preserve AC3 audio if it is exists, and just encode the video.
