Using a DVD recorder, I've recorded some Karaoke songs into a DVD+RW. I want to reauthor it (rearrange, trim, put song titles, create menu) with TDA. I want to put one song for each track then put the song title. Problem is when I click "Add DVD Video", only one title shows up(one song only) but there are about 20 songs in there. The DVD+RW plays fine in all my DVD players! I already reauthor one DVD using this method. I tried Fix VTS, DVD Decrypter to no avail.

Here's another. Windows Explorer shows it duplicates the VOBs so the total is more than 8GB. Each VOB plays in Power DVD. The DVD drive, when right-clicked, the Properties shows only 4GB.

Is there another way to reauthor this DVD+RW?

What you got is multi-linked PGC which confuses the heck out of windows, IMHO.

From what I understand, PGC is like a, well, "suggested path" through the DVD. And as there's almost infinite ways to walk through a park, there's almost infinite ways to traverse a DVD. That's how those "special editions" and include the regular edition on the same DVD: same footage, but with some extra scenes linked in via a different PGC.

In your case, it seems Windows is reading EACH PGC (or perhaps, titleset) as a separate volume (of one song!)

If you recorded all the songs at time, wouldn't you only have one title on the DVD?

I stop after each song to create another track. Just not possible to record the song title so I'm typing it on each track. Also, some songs are not complete so I'm reauthoring it.

I'm thinking that the DVD Recorder (LiteOn1101) is about to die although the media plays in all of my DVD players. It's just amazing that it can double the size (virtually) of the DVD+RW.

Another thing I noticed even before this problem. DVDShrink can only see a couple of chapters/titles. If it can, then I can use it to select the good songs and reauthor with TDA to put the song titles. If TDA can see the titles.

    Thanks.

If you have VideoReDo you might try it also.
