    How can I take the clips from movies/DVD's and make them into videos like on YouTube?

    I have the DVD's, and I heard that I can take clips from that and use it to make videos to put on YouTube, it would be really helpful if someone could explain this to me, because I have been told I have editing skills that I want to get better at..

    And it won't hurt the DVD's if I use them, correct?
    PS, I wasn't sure which category this would go in, do you think that this is correct?

    You can use the free DVD SHrink in the reauthoring mode. Click on it for several guides. Then upload the vob video file directly to youtube.

    But don't upload commercial dvd clips. THey will be deleted by youtube.
