    Hi All,

    Im new here.
I was thinking this is the best place to get some help.

    Heres my question:
I have this Karaoke VCD (Multiplex). How can I grab the DAT files into my computer to more common video file types? Ex. Mpeg, WMV, AVI, etc.

BUT HERES THE CATCH.. I want the ripped video files to have only 1 audio channel only. Because its multiplex, i only want the left audio channel together with the video so the vocal part of the audio will be gone leaving the instruments only.

    How can i do this?

Thanks to anyone who can point me to the right direction.

    vcdgear to a mpg file
goldwave and open the mpg and delete one audio track and save as wav
    convert to mp2 with ffmpeggui
multiplex/join the old mpg video with the new mp2 audio using tmpgenc, file->mpeg tools->simple multiplex
author the new mpg to a vcd with vcdeasy.
