Hi
I been running a Toshiba DR1 for a little while and was given a Toshiba SD-220 dvd player as a spare. When I went to switch the player on using the remote, the DR1 window flashed and came up with DR-OFF. The remote now refuses to work at all on the recorder!! THe set top buttons will allow the basic functions to work but thats it! Everything else is locked out. Tried everything and every button I press onn the DR-1 remote comes up with the same message!
There must be some compatibility problems with the remotes between the DR-1 and the SD-220 (the same remote will also operate an old SD-3109) but I cant get any other message now other than the DR-OFF code!!! No idea whats happened but its in effect rendered the recorder useless!
Is there a way to reset the recorder so the remote will work?
thanks
Paul
