I burn a dvd with nero 7 it converts well and no problem with the burn but when i put it in m dvd player there is frame clipping and it plays like the frame rate was drastically reduced.

what can i do to fix this problem or is it not fixable?

What do you mean by frame clipping ?

What do you see that makes you think the framerate is reduced ?

Does the burned DVD play like this in your computer or other DVD players ?

Can you play the DVD files from your HDD ? Are they also choppy ?

What media are you using (media code, brand) to burn to ?

Then the issue would appear to be a compatability problem with your player and the meia. Either it doesn't like the format (+R/-R) or it doesn't like the brand.

What brand discs are you using ?

Can you test it in another DVD player ?

Use GSpot in your AVI and post a screen shot. I suspect some source material incompatibility rather than media.
You could also try something besides Nero to convert it to DVD (like DivX2dvd or ConvertXtoDVD) - Nero rates very low (if at all) as a conversion tool.
