I was using AVI2DVD and decided to give NuEnc a try, as QuEnc is really too slow and if I do single-pass the whole movie looks as if it's been put through a fuzz filter.

So I set it and left it overnight. This morning, I came back to my PC, and got a "cannot find matrix.ini" error.

I searched on Google, I searched here, but only got a reference that this error has already been FIXED, according to the changelog.

Then I searched for matrix.ini file, and found it in the directory ABOVE the temp directory that AVI2DVD uses (avi2dvd_temp), where the AVI file being encoded is located.

So what do you guys think? Just copy the matrix.ini into the temp directory, and NuEnc will start working?

*sigh* AVI2DVD has FAILED me. The AVI is 25 fps, so I had it convert PAL to NTSC. The result is fast/slow/fast/slow MPG2. It looks too weird. Tried FreeEnc, and got horrible results, and QuEnc is just too slow. Tried HCEnc and left it over night, got the stutter effect as well. At least the sound is still in sync. :P

    Trying D2MP now.
