  1. Hi there - I was a bit unsure where to put this one...

I have a website and have been using wmv for the free trailers:

I have always wanted to use flash and have finally got some help to put it up. The problem is the following when I convert the original avi clip to flv (with flash video MX) the horizontal lines remain:

Since I have always been converting avi to wmv (with wmm) - these lines have always dissapeared.

I suspect the problem lies in the capturing - I use nero (I think the capture format is what nero refers to as "type2").

As an amateur, the only solution I can think of is to first convert to wmv and then to flv. However this makes the quality decrease substantially:

    Help very much appreciated,

    /Kristofer

Could it be some kind of deinterlacing that WMM does, that Flash doesn't?

  3. The horizontal lines are actually much more prominent after the flv conversion than before - so flash video MX does something to the video file... Any ideas?

    thanks in advance

Well super did do the trick!

I guess one should think a little before spending 50 bucs on a software... Since I did buy flash video MX - does anyone know how to solve it with this software?
