    Background-----------------
    -------------------------------
All I wanted to do was break up some music DVD's into individual clips and play them over my MCPC (preferably using Nero Media Home) like I would converting a CD into WMA's. I used DVD Decrypter to rip & break the VOBs into chapters (can select either 1 or multi audio tracks) and thanks to ChrissyBoy the SVCD2DVD Mod, found I could just rename them as MPG and away I'd go! The only problem is that I have found the Nero Media Home, Nero Show Time, and WMP11 are NOT consistant in how they play the resultant MPG files.

    Problem-----------------------
    --------------------------------
Using Queen (DTS 5.1) and Pink Floyd - The Wall (DD 5.1) I got the following results when playing both the original disks and also the MPG files (one with just a single 5.1 track extracted, and one with all audio tracks including a PCM and 5.1) with the various players:
    1) DVD or MPG Files with DD5.1 Encoding - Mostly no Probs with all combos and players
    2) DVD with DTS Encoding - Mostly no Probs except that Nero Media Home just hung
    3) MPG Files with DTS Encoding - Nero Show Time was fine, WMP would only output the PCM sound track (if present), and Nero Home was fine with the multi sound track file (would default to PCM but let you select the DTS 5.1) yet if playing the DTS5.1 only track would come up with a "Missing Feature - DTS Decoder" not supported error, then play it as 2Ch PCM???

    Question-------------------
    ------------------------------
Any Idea how I can (ideally) get Nero Home to EITHER
    1) Auto Play the DTS5.1 / DD5.1 track from multi audio track MPG files OR
    2) Play DTS5.1 single audio track MPG files

    Thanks
    Nathan
