Alright i have looked over many forums and just really confused. Can someone give me step by step instructions and what programs to use to successfully burn a dvd. I have NTI DVD Maker and i thought you just put the movie in the program and press burn but obviously not considering it says cannot read disc on my standalone player. I don't think anyone will lead you through this step by step.
But basically:
Encode - To DVD compatible MPEG-2 video and audio. See 'CONVERT' <<<<<<
Author - To format the MPEG-2 into DVD format. See 'AUTHOR' <<<<<<
Burn - The DVD formatted file to DVD media. See 'Burn' in 'Tools' <<<<<<
But I agree, ConvertXToDVD is one of the better all in one simple converters for AVI to DVD.
