Is there some way to configure my Pioneer 530H to finalize a DVD with one VOB file only, not divided in parts?

  2. I don't know about that DVD Recorder specifically, but I would doubt it.
However, several programs will rip a recording into one VOB file (like Vob edit, DVD Shrink, DVD decryptor). I assume you want it in one VOB file for editing purposes.

A individual VOB file is set to a standard of 1GB. As mentioned, you can combine them if you don't need DVD compatibility. For the DVD standards, see 'What is' DVD to the upper left of this page.

If you want to extract them all to one large MPEG, try VOB2MPEG. This is probably a better option if you want to edit the whole video at one time.

Yes, I agree. I gonna rip all Vobs with DVD decrypter to make a unique VOB file and after edit it.
    Thanks.
