This is my first attempt at making a PAL DVD
My set-top player plays NTSC & PAL here in the States
I'm using MovieFactory4 & set to PAL
I made smooth compliant PAL mpgs via ProCoder and inserted them into MF4
Set MF4 to "do not re-encode compliant mpgs" & burnt
The DVD came out slightly choppy telling me it may have messed with the framerate
Did I miss a setting somewhere?
The DVD plays slightly choppy on my computer, too
Haven't a clue on this one
Suggestions?
Thx
PS - It's very watchable but since I'm asking for donations for this disc, I feel it should be perfectly smooth for our PAL's.

MF4 probably converted from 29.97 fps to 25 fps by simply dropping every 6th frame. That leaves you with 5 little skips every second. Step through the video with VirtualDubMod and it should be pretty obvious.
