I'm wondering if anyone is using the latest Divx Pro for converting? Is it any improvement over Quicktime Pro or ffmpegX?

Any compatibility issues? Mac and Windows users will just have to download the codec for playback correct?

It doesn't do DVD to DivX or DivX to DVD, so its usefulness to me is rather limited. ffmpegX serves me much better. It might be useful for people with DivX certified players, tho'.

Ah, good thing to keep in mind. My use will be for compressing movies I make in Final Cut.
