I have some footage that I have recorded to DVD from my DVD recorder. I would like to import the DVD footage into a computer program and do some editing, mainly trim some bits out and create chapters, but also add some graphic files that I have created as titles at the beginning of my chapters.
What software can I use to do this? I have Ulead DVD workshop but it doesnt have any editing options so wont let me import grpahics into the video or even other bits of video.
I dont want to have to convert the DVD to avi just to edit thne have to convert back again to re do the DVD.
Cheers.

You can use any ripper like dvd decrypter to copy the vobs to the harddrive. Than pretty much any program that reads vobs directly can use them. I know tmpengc dvd author can open vob files and reauthor them. I don't know which version of ulead can read vobs. I'm sure one does but I don't know the number.
You could use something like vob2mpg to convert the vob to a mpg file any program will accept.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
